We are in a pilot program with the DMV. All TPT schools will be using this system in December of this year. There is no green envelope and no expiration on when you need to go to the DMV. If you want to use our car for the random please go to the DMV within 30 days of your road test with us.
Before you book your permit test make sure you have your original birth certificate and social security number in your possession. On the day of class if you are under 18 years old we will have paperwork for a parent to sign.
Students who are 15-16 years old must attend the 8 hour class to get started on their training unless they have a completed PDLA form.
Students who are over 17 years old are able to attend the 8 hour class for insurance reduction this will come with a 3 hour driving package or 6 hour driving package.
We are now offering road test appointments for people over 17 years old who just want a road test. Please check out the DMV website for information on this new change on skills testing at the local DMV branches. If the student is 15-16 years old, we will we need a copy of their PDLA form.
IF THE STUENT IS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD A PARENT/ GUARDIAN MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN PAPERWORK ON THE DAY OF THE ROAD TEST.
Please bring your permit with you to this appointment and make sure you have held your permit 180 days.

We are NOT administering road tests for students who have an IID installed in their vehicle. You can make an appointment at Camden, Chester or Rock Hill SCDMV to take the road test with them.
